Every dog needs another dog. We have had two different sets of dogs and the first of each set did not like their new companions but it just takes time for them to find their fit. It is fun when you start seeing the signs of affection grow.

Yes I think at one point of their need someone other than humans.
I loved my dog so much but sometimes I used to feel she needs company of her type but she is no more now. She lived for 10yrs 11 months and 14 days.

Yes, I think it is a good Idea to have 2 pets. It can be 2 cats, or 2 dogs, or a cat and a dog, or any other combination. As long as they have a fury buddy to keep them company

That's nice, and you can have all that with a rescue puppy too! Save a dog from a shelter, way too many puppies are being killed in shelters. do NOT support breeders!
