Pittie Hasn't Left His Brother's Side In 7 Years Pittie Nation Please, please, please, don’t be offended if people cross the road or pick up their dogs when they see a dog they may be afraid of. I LOVE dogs, but I do get scared around dogs I don’t know. especially if I’m walking my dog. I will pick my dog up and move across the road. ONLY because I’ve had my dog attacked in the past and I was also attacked by the same dog trying to save my dog (which I did but I ended up in the e. r. with dog bites.

A wonderful story of a boy and his faithful dog, but please don’t call Boulder a Pitbull. He is a beautiful example of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier breed. They are wonderful dogs, who are commonly known as the nanny dog’ because of their love of children. Our Staffies had the same relationship with our grandchildren as they grew up. These dogs love people, children, and their human family, and they make great companions.

To Lucinda the mommie: Regardless, you never let a pit bull or bully and a child out of your sight, ever. However, it appears both Boulder the Bully dog and your son Harley are always in your sight. But, what about at bedtime Personally, I love Bully dogs, not so much pit bulls. Unless it's dogs like a Great Dane, St. Bernard, Golden Retriever, Irish Setter or Labrador, you never let a dog and child out of your sight.

This video is so beautiful, and Boulder's going to teach that sweet boy so much about friendship, love, loyalty, animals, kindness but I just wince when I think about the time when Boulder won't be there anymore, I wish these sweet creatures lived longer, I'd happily trade some of my years for more with a loved animal.

Reminds me of my bbg & my English bulldog Hercules. He never left her side from the day she was born. Not a single pic of her without him. He passed when she was 6. She still misses him. Cherish every second of that connection & I love that he’s treated like a brother not just a dog. Bless u & your family,

That looks like Staffordshire Bull Terrier. They have a shorter snout than a pitbull, and are short and squat. They tend to get chunky like that little guy. Also, they are called the Nanny Dog in the UK, which this dog seems to fit perfectly! They also seem to have that heart shaped head!

Staffordshire bull terrier. One of the most loving, affectionate, brave and loyal dogs. Beautiful souls and deeply in tune with their humans emotions. Perfect breed for children. Unfortunately Pitbulls are banned in the UK because they are discriminated against and demonised here.

He is your bestest friend and your His. You better not forget Him ina few years when you have a girlfriend. You gotta let Her know that Boulder has to come along too. Like Right Now I’m Chillin with my girl and Frida(my Bully) is right in the middle side looking both of us.

You made my eyes cry. I remembered how attached I was to my dog when I was little. When my parents came to Canada, my dog was left with friends. that's the first time I experienced -- loss --. Hoping for many more years for you to enjoy each others company!

Like any other dog, if u love them, they’ll turn into big babies. They just need to be treated like they deserve: with love. If u treat them like trash, obviously they’ll get aggressive. It happens to humans too, so.

This is so beautiful, it really was so lovely to watch.
I have a 5 year staffy just like Bolder.
My wife is pregnant with our first child. So I hope that my new baby will be good friends with my doggie.

Such a smart dog. What a pair of gems they are together. When your son has kids of his own, it's going to be great showing them all the images of the pair dressed up when he was himself a kid.

Lucinda, I believe you may be the best mother in the world to teach your boy lessons of love and the respect and love of animals. Bravo!

Is it me or does the beauty/handsomness ) of the pup grow in DIRECT proportion to the grin (on BOTH their faces) A lad and his dog.

Knowing the dogs I help volunteering at the shelter might end up with lives like this is the only thing still keeping me alive

I have known several pits and all of them, without exception, have been the most sweet and kind souls you could possibly have.
reply

Pitties are the best I grew up with them as well and nothing beats the love of your pitties after a long day
reply

I wish we could make this into a tv commercial so that everyone could see how wonderful this breed is
reply

It's so sad to think that pitties are getting that much hate when they just want someone to love
reply

Let somebody raise a hand to Harley, Boulder won’t be so soft. What a beautiful beautiful dog.
reply

Appears to be an English staffs not a Pitt. The original nanny dog which is great with kids.
reply

How sweet. your family is soo beautiful. You are a lucky lady. Boulder is gorgeous
reply

Thats a Staffy, not a pitt. Staffys are known as nanny dogs and are great with kids
reply

This isn’t a boy & his dog or a dog & his owner. This is two brothers in the purest form.
reply

What sucks is that boulder wont live as long. I hate that dogs have such a short life span.
reply

Pit bulls aren’t savage beasts. Pit bulls are nothing but muscular teddy bears

Im absolutely in love with pitties and staffies, most loving dogs in the world
