Cat Mom Nurses Orphaned Kittens I once found a kitten just as small or even smaller, she came up to me, think was abbandoned by the mother because had an eye RIP. And some other problems, she was so small that my hand palm could easily keep her. In a moment of weakness after i looked for her mother or eventually brothers i took her with me, i didnt gave her milk. Actually that litle small kitten started eating cat foods, with a bit of difficulty but slowly she was eating lol. And i think she was smaller than these cats, lucky she eated, because that wouldve complicated my life.

Farm in family since 1700. My luv, grandmother, mothers even more granddaughters and we still don’t have enough hunting cats for all our crops.
The 3 generations will share milking own kittens but not unrelated females. At least they don’t kill each others litters like mice, gophers and squirrels do.
Don’t expect political correctness of Mother Nature. She hates feminism. And what is PC to you the opposite to someone else.

My mom found a newborn kitty soaked in the rain on a parking lot. Still had the umbilical cord and there was no sight of the mom. Fortunately her neighbor had a cat that was nursing her kittens and they tried to just put it among the other kittens. It went great, they are all family now. It's funny bc he is the only black one and is a little smaller

The equivalent of Captain Levi caring for a teenage Eren and Friends from first joint scout regiment up until Eren left. These kids aren’t mine but they definitely aren’t other’s kids either in the sense that enemies to Paradis weren’t allowed within 3 meters of them during talks, like the one scene Levi wouldn’t let Yelena close to Eren.

Now that’s dope! Who knew cats could adopt orphaned kittens I don’t want to know what happened to their original family, but whatever happened would have had to have happened not too long before the release of this video. I’m no vet but those kittens look like they’re maybe a couple months old at most

That is beautiful.
Mother cats seem to to be very accepting of all kittens, perhaps unless she feels that for some reason she should not nurse them. Maybe, they sense when that they might have something wrong with their milk or something

Is everyone who picks up abandoned kittens sure they're abandoned Feral mother cats have to leave for awhile sometimes to hunt, ya know. Make sure there isn't a mother cat coming back to the heartbreak of finding her kittens gone.

Kittens claim their own nip so they will drink only from that one and will stay away from any nip that's already been marked. My guess is that the scent was too strong so the late one couldn't find one.

It's beautiful when a Mama kitty takes on orphaned kitties. Bless this Mama who is feeding two litters, her babies and the two orhans. Bless this caretaker. She is so kind and loving!

Our neighbors had a semi-feral momma-cat that was never fixed.
That cat would nurse anything that wasn't tied down.
Strange kittens, or other adult cats were fine with her.

Something I love about cats is that they babysit each other's babies and are fairly likely to take orphan babies, it's these stories in particular that bring me joy

Mama cats are the best moms. Their mother instinct is so strong, they even adopt animals that would normally be prey, like baby rabbits and squirrels.

Mama Cat: Who are these kittens Where is their Mom
Kitten: Mommy, is that you
Mama Cat: . Yes, yes I am.
Even cats themselves can't resist kittens.

The cat sniffed the kittens and had had the common sense reaction Who the Hell doesn't feed their kids! These are babies for God sakes!

Why doesn't the mother cat reject the kittens for not being her own kittens like other animals do if she knows they're not her own kittens

My favorite thing about baby kittens is that they can actually be bursting with energy yet still look like they're about to fall asleep
reply

I looked up what happened to these kittens and apparently one still died later on because he was too sick.
The other one lived.

The expression in a mother cat's eyes is incredibly endearing. They radiate trust and affection, melting my heart completely.

My cat is ready to feed a stray kitten but the kitten is not drinking milk from her i don't know what to do.

I think it kicks ass that the Mama Kitty who lost her babies was able to trade for the dark tabbies she met
reply

In thus scenario, timing is of essence. She is nursing thank goodness. If not, she won't have any milk to give.
reply

Cats usually have extremely strong mothering instincts. They will protect their babies with their life.

Mama cat: What the Who’s kittens are-
baby squeaks
Mama cat: Mine. They’re my kittens.

reply

I call kittens fatties because they balloon up for a little bit after feeding and it's so cute.
reply

I love how encouraging the lady was to the cat. Its like she understood everything that was said
reply

I mean, you could have helped them figure it out instead of just staring and hoping. Just sayin

Mama: oh u want me to feed them ok I got it
