Couple Rescues Baby Sparrow And Turns Their Living Room Into A Habitat In my opinion, it does not matter at all to keep a wild bird close to heart. They will decide and make the choice. I have raised many young birds over the years, i always gave them the choice, fly away find your flock or stay, you are free. Many left and some decided to stay, i have had many heartbreaks but also surprise companions who stayed with me for many years. These little companions do know when they feel safe and comfortable, friends for life.

Hi
Beautifully filmed and narrated visual diary of fledgling sparrow rescue, and how doing that becomes a permanent bond! Sparrows are probably the most Urbanised’ birds by far, alongside pigeons, but this little guy has formed a special relationship with his human Parents’ it’s like he has adopted them as honorary sparrows!
Shalom to us only in Christ Yeshua returning soon to reign over His Creation from Jerusalem forever.

raising wild animals is like raising a child
you feed it
you provide it a home
and you show love to it
but when they grow up its a bittersweet ending to a story
because its sad to see the thing you raised leave
but you know you have to let the animal do what it was meant to do

When I found my baby she had barely any feathers she would play hide and seek and went to bed when I told her. One day she saw other sparrows and decide to fly away. She came back one day flew in my face to show me she was ok and I never saw her again.

One thing that can make her independent is by introducing her to local flock, once she accepted in a flock she will be as wild as wild bird can be. She lack socializing with the same species, hence still together with her hooman family.

Once you adopt a wild bird since baby the birds will never leave you they will depend to you all the time. It will be risky to release them in the wild because they didn't know how to live in a wild life.

This stuff drives me crazy. Why was it the right thing to do it’s the right thing to do for this non-sentient animal to go out and compete for survival
It’s not a whale. Stop the group think

I rescued a baby starling years ago, and she did not want to go back to the wild even just after one week. She kept following me out of the woods, it broke my heart by knew I had to let her go.

I have a little sparrow as well. She is now 8. 5 years old and still very happy. She thinks she's a person. Like this bird, she is very bonded with humans.

U guys really something. Taking the initiative to adapt n improvise.
Of cuz, surely the little bird will stay with security n companionship!

reply

You should not release hand-raised birds since they lack the appropriate knowledge and skills to live in the open.
Glad they decided to keep her.

What a beautiful compromise. You get to keep eachother in your lives and the bird still gets to be a free bird. Its free to come and go.

It’s totally not a good idea to release a bird in the wild who raised in a home environment I don’t know why people do this foolish things
