Neglected Puppy Goes On Shopping Spree

We call them Stone Dogs. And it's always so exciting to see how they change as they recover.
One thing that always concerns me is when ppl pick up the dogs and hug them and then go pet their other dogs. Dodo, maybe address this Here is something I found on the Internet:

Demodectic mange is not contagious. It is a normal parasite that can grow uncontrolled due to a lacking immune system, therefore contact between a healthy dog and one with demodectic mange will not lead to transmission of the infection. Sarcoptic mange, however, is very contagious to other dogs as well as to humans.

When I started watching this video I thought it would show this poor dog’s healing process. It was disappointing to end up seeing a silly, unnecessary shopping spree, followed by the man making this dog dance like the poor kitties in those horrible Purina Cat Chow ads, where women sang chow chow chow in awful cat voices.
Please show rescues! Stop making your videos show people trying to be the stars.

I’m glad she found great fosters, but (IMO) this whole silly costume thing is not for recovering dogs. They know when they are being laughed at rather than appreciated for being protected by skin-covering fabric. It does NOTHING to build their confidence, which (as an abused pittie owner) makes me terribly sad

For these poor babies and millions of animals in the US alone, the problem is ALWAYS at the human end of the leash. At 67yo having done rescue for most of my life it breaks my heart that these stories continue and that humans are still the cruelest beast that walks the earth. She is so sweet and beautiful.

The silent little sweetheart. Never complained a bit. Took life as it came, and that nothin ever good looks like. Im so glad someone found her. She deserves to experience love and fun too. I hope she even finds joy

She may never trust again if you let her go at this point she belongs with you. She can be a little helper in fostering other animals. Foster failure is not a real failure if the animal is where they should be.

I'm sorry to say that but Reese was not happy to be like a doll. And it was too violent for her, she beat herself one or two time because of it.

What a shame she will be passed on again, extreme cases like this, spoil a dog make them love you feel secure and then pass them on
