What Happened Behind The Scenes On Bridgerton Set Bridgerton'' is the new Netflix series from Shonda Rhimes bringing steamy historical romance to the forefront of this winters entertainment. The series is the first in a ninefigure Shondaland deal with the streaming service. It adapts Julia Quinns popular romance series, which covers the romantic lives of eight Bridgerton siblings in 19th century England. The series focuses on Daphne Bridgerton and the Duke Simon Basset, played by Phoebe Dynevor and RegJean Page. It even features Julie Andrews as the voice of Lady Whistledown, a regencyera Gossip Girl writer. While theres plenty of jawdropping love scenes in the show, the only thing more shocking is all the work that went in behind the scenes. This incredible effort includes a six week boot camp where the cast learned how to dance and ride horses, nine months of filming, and more than 7, 000 costumes created by costume designer Ellen Mirojnick. The stars even worked with a chemistry coordinator to get the romances just right, but the most challenging part of filming will probably surprise you. As for the 200 members of the crew who worked behind the scenes, their most challenging tasks had to do with turning modern mansions into 19th century homes, and creating those grand ballroom scenes. We also have all the details on a possible season two both Shonda Rhimes and showrunner Chris Van Dusen are interested as well as the possibility of an eightseason series. Heres all the behind the scenes Bridgerton knowledge you absolutely need to know. NEW UPLOADS

Actually I do believe their research is correct in that Nicola was working in a doctor's office. HOWEVER, they definitely imply here that it was immediately before being cast, and that is not the case. I believe when she was living in England the first time around she was doing anything and everything to get by, like waitressing, bar tending and doctors receptionist while she was trying out for roles (and unless you are on the West End, theatre rarely pays the bills. She eventually returned to Ireland because she was broke and then landed Derry Girls, not requiring a non-acting job since. I also remember reading that part of the reason Shonda cast Nic is because she enjoyed Derry Girls. So ironically it was her leaving England that really helped her career.

The only thing that was historically accurate was that Queen Sophia Charlotte Mecklenburg-Strelitz, queen of King George III, was indeed of biracial of Moorish Portuguese heritage. Anyone who has seen the various portraits of he Queen can see that despite the attempt to cover up her lineage!

This is a complete masterpiece of acting, costumes and romance! Simon and Daphne (Rege and Phoebe) are perfect together. I keep watching it over and over. I sooooo hope that we will get to see all the Bridgerton siblings portrayed in their own season!

I hate it when they Brigerton Regency meet Gossip girls. I havent and not interested of watching Gossip Girl. The book is ahead before Gossip Girl and there is more movie that came before gossip girl like Dangerous Liaison and others.

Eight seasons would be good. We would be able to see Eloise, Fracesca, Gregory and Hyacinth grow up and get their romance tale. Hopefully they would keep the same actors would get older as the story develops over time.

I waited for years for the Bridgertons to come out as a series. Hurrah. Finally. Great books by Julia Quinn, and Season 1 on Netflix did not let fans down.
