The Prince of Egypt, Anastasia, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Hercules, Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Little Mermaid, Shrek, The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Lion King are the best no question. They are on the next level and really transform the art of scores in cinema especially in what is an animated one. The likes of Hans Zimmer, Alan Menken and even Elton John cannot be matched

So glad that I've had the honor of being in local stage performances of some of these movies! Started with minor roles like the Gingerbread Man (Gingy) for Shrek, Phoebus for Hunchback of Notre Dame and Sandy Clause for Nightmare before Christmas and eventually got to the point of doing leading roles as Jack Skellington and Oogie Boogie for the later.

There is no mention of Frozen. The 2013 Disney movie includes songs like Love is an Open Door, Do You Want to Build a Snowman, In Summer, and the best song of all, Let It Go, sung by Idina Menzel who voiced Elza and it was covered by actress/singer Demi Lovato.

I agree #2 and #1 are the best. The Lion King and The Prince of Egypt are my favorite animated movies of all time. If there was a holy trinity of most epic movie soundtracks, it would have to be The Lion King, The Prince of Egypt and The Lord of the Rings

I would personally also put Tangled in here, but to be fair, there are too many movies with great songs. So it's understandable, it didn't got on this list.
