Pile 3- Hoping indeed to pack up my bags and go from the co-op I've been living in for the past 10 years or so. I have invested so much work in this place, wishing to make things better only to face mountains of corruption that led to so much hurt. (When the captain of the ship your are sailing on happens to be a pirate in disguise, better change vessel altogether) The truth is, I never wanted to step foot on this embarkation in the first place, I resigned myself to move here because other co-ops could not allow more than one dog per unit and I had two at the time. One past away two years ago and the other six months ago. It might sound silly yet, part of me feels bad for planning to leave the space we once shared together, sort of as if I was about to leave their beloved ghosts behind. Hopefully their loyal spirits will tag along with me wherever I end up! I will also let go of a beautiful garden I put my blood, sweat and tears into, one that actually made the news! If want to bloom myself, I need better soil to plunge my roots into and there needs to be light at the end of the tunnel! Cheers to promising new beginnings and better work and living conditions to everyone, including this pirate of a co-op president and his entire crew!

This December my youngest son turned 12, and I finally had the courage to go see a lawyer and ask information about what to do to officially make my ex-husband contribute financially according to the law. I was afraid, still am, but he assured me and put me at ease. After listening to my case, he assured me I have every right to proceed now and that the children are now both of legal age to choose where they want to live, my ex cannot force them anymore. Just today I sent an email to my lawyer agreeing with the draft and giving him the go ahead to proceed in January. Your reading affirmed all this and gave me hope thank you

Happy New Year 2024! Yes, #3. He lied, he cheated, he manipulated, was cruel. As soon as I found out about the lies and cheating, I left, but there have been loose ends to tie up. Going to wrap it up early in Jan and never look back. But there was so much growth and learning for me that I am grateful and of course, wish for him to see the error in his ways and want to make a change for himself, for all the other women in his orbit and any one who crosses his path in future. I am looking forward to what 2024 will bring. Out with the old, in with new adventures!
