Hairdresser reacts to people cutting their hair with kitchen scissors

Usually my hair gets too long and I gotta cut it back down to my shoulder length again. So I chop it off every so many years and would ask my mom to even it out for me in the back.
One time atleast though, I did it and tried layering myself, and my mom thought I got it done by a stylist. I had no idea what I was doing. But there is no one around me that can help me fix my hair if I cut it bad, so now I gotta either just go for it, or find a stylist that I am happy with.

This is like my comfort thing rn cause I cut my own fringe right? It was great looked good and stuff but then I went to the hairdressers and obviously my fringe had grown a little long so she trimmed it and 1 its not straight 2 its way too short 3 it looks horrible like no disrespect to the hairdresser but from now on I think Ill be doing it myself or going to a different hairdresser.

Its possible to cut hair with just about anything that cuts. Cuts. Sharp enough to cut. I love women with long hair. Tri band pony tails are awesome. I am man and as for me is easy to cut myself. Army style of haircut. Short hair. Anything is possible. Just matter of taste. And lil bit of practice.

The problem with kitchen shears is that they aren't built to be sharp. Generally the most fragile ingredient you're going to cut with them is maybe some herbs or scallions. They are really meant to be used to bust through bird bones or woody vegetal stems, not for finesse and precision cuts

When I cut my hair by my self I did it with my sister and I did four braids and it didnt go that bad but when I got to school my friends said that they missed my long hair and said it looked bad and then I went to the hair salon my old 5th grade teacher said it looked bad

I had my hair cut into a bob two weeks ago. The person from the salon used hair scissors but the blades were incredibly dull. Listening to the sound coming from these kitchen scissors reminds me of the crunch i heard coming from the dull scissors cutting my hair.

I cut my hair at home with sharp sicssors, problem is it flicks out at the ends like one of the girls in the video. How do I fix it, do I go to a hair salon? Can they cut and fix with outwards flick? Because I hate it lol

every few years I chop off about a foot of hair just for shits and giggles, something soo satisfying about doing it.
