the wolf cut is actually very similar to how us barbers do long layers. but it takes a little bit longer and the layers on ours are more like a water fall effect than the wolf cut lol. but starting out chopping hair off (especially if the hair starts as really super long one length hair) the wolf cut method is a faster start on getting all of the length off if you're going for that then finish up the way we cut layers so it all just flows down

I got brave and did this wolf cut. I was so tired of my thick ass hair sticking to my neck in this heat when my hair is up. I cut off 7 inches, and I'm not even mad. I cannot believe how well it turned out. It's so crazy how it comes out all even. Just put some texture at the end and it's damn near perfect. Thank you Brad for showing us all how to do this. You rock!

I really dunno, but I think that chunky, uneven look might actually be the goal with this hair cut. I was really sceptical at first, but then I actually started to like it. It looks very shaggy, almost unkempt, but like in a cool way. And for example a lot of punk styles can be like that on purpose, in various ways.

Layers usually make your hair look thicker and fluffier. Wolves have fluffy fur. Wolf Cut.
Edit: Wolves (like all canines with fur) have two coats, the Top Coat (the one you see/the thinner coat, and the Under Coat (the thicker coat used to keep the animal warm)

i dont have tiktok so i didnt know this was a thing! i had my hair cut like this in 2012-ish so i could get the popular 2000's asian (as i am) layered cut. with the same technique too! another trend thats been tried and done before that tiktok revives as if it's new >_>

So I had bleached my hair last summer, so almost a full year ago, and oddly enough as a really curly thick haired person, the blonde not only looks but also feels so much finer than my natural. never nearly as dry as the deep brown. I am confusion

Just watched a series of wolf cuts gone bad and decided to do it too didnt end up terrible, not the best but okish. and an inch shorter than I wanted it lol. but at least I can still bring it up in a ponytail
