Resurrecting an $18 amazon wig and making it look expensive! AlexBloopyDoop: I just transformed one of my wigs for a cosplay. Not as cheap as this one, but still synthetic. DO NOT waste your money on a boar hair brush. A wired brush works wonders for plastic hair. Especially if you have a bunch of knots. Grab one off the hairbrush rack and grab a smaller one off Amazon or the doll shelf with all the knock-off American Girl doll stuff. The smaller brush works for the knots. The regular brush is better for overall brushing. Dont use a plastic brush, it will frizz a TON. If youre cosplaying, I would recommend just buying a character wig if you can find it at a decent price. Its better quality and you dont waste youre time with the styling process and your money on styling products.

I- you are literally insulting my hair, except mine isn't plastic
Hair is not that thick at the bottom naturally
Me: Has thick hair at the bottom naturally
Hair isn't that shiny
Me: Hair is shiny for no reason
I feel attacked
Edit: I also have long hair(longer than the wig mine is a little pass my hip, and that wig turned pretty good,

If you guys don't have hot rollers and it's too synthetic for an iron, use regular rollers like foam or perm rollers on dry hair. You can steam with the steamer real nice, take your time, and let it sit and dry, then take them out. Works the same

My hair legit looks like the hair before curling it (like how thin and damaged it is, not the color/pony) and I didnt know I could fix it with some curling and hairspray (never tried it because I know it can damage your hair if you do it to much)

when I was little I tried to give my dolls a wash and blow dry not realising their hair was plastic and it got so matted and I didn't understand whyyy

I haven't even finished the video yet but im pretty sure he will manage to make it look great. Tbh i really want to see him try to fix the really tangled cheap Aurora wig that i wore for book week

You talking about hair reminded me of the time my aunt Kim (Also a hair dresser, sat with girl that had long tangled curly hair for 6 hours trying to untangle it. She succeeded.

Honestly, you did amazing. You know what would be even better, you collabing with James Mansfield. I would love to watch a video of you two working together on wigs.

Do you know how to make a wig with semi-believable shaved areas? That would be a cool video if you know how! Or even if you don't, it would be entertaining lol.

This little wiggy went to amazon. This little wiggy went on the mannequin. This little wiggy melted. And this little wiggy went to get transformed by Brad.

i think it'd be so fun for brad to like review cosplayers and cosplay wigs cause like animation and characters are so different from everyday wear

The thing is I don't know why I clicked. However, this video helped me with art advice. I will now be able to better draw hair.

When he was pulling the hair out of the hairbrush I had flashbacks to when my hair started falling out after using box dye

It looks amazing also the only thing that was running through my head when you first pulled it out was Mal from Descendants

Fun fact if you use fabric softener on some wigs it will look less fake shine and it will look a bit more natural
