Not gonna lie, I have definitely done the thinning thing to my hair. I do a wolf cut every time I cut my hair, I like the layers but I also have a LOT of hair, so while my hair is upside down, I have taken thinning shears to it just to get rid of a bunch of weight. Leaving enough length near the root to get to a pony tail since that’s how I wear my hair half the time lol I haven’t thinned it in a while since I’ve started to braid it more, but I still use the work cut consistently to cut it and I love it: )
My fiance saw a bunch of hair in the trash one time and I was in the shower and he was like omg. You cut your hair huh I knew he was nervous cause it looked like a lot of hair, so I went with it and I was like yeah, I cut a lot off, wanna see He was like okayyyy haha and I opened the curtain and he said I don’t see a difference lol it was funny. He thought I chopped a bunch off but I just trimmed it lol

I have super thick hair. Like thick to the point that every single person that’s ever cut it has complained about the thickness and every single person that’s ever cut it has messed it up. When I was younger I liked side parts. My mom exclusively took to Great Clips bc they were cheap. They would section out my side part and then THIN the heck out of the side with more hair until they matched’ and didn’t TOUCH the other side. It didn’t feel right and it definitely didn’t look right either. Now I just cut my own hair since no matter where I go they mess it up anyways so at least I don’t have to pay for messed up hair and if I do use thinning shears it’s only at the very bottom of my hair to make it less blunt looking.

So if a hairstylist cuts your har with a normal pairs of scissors and a hair straightener in 5 min is it ok ( she did not brush my hair, did not create section, my hair is as straight as an arrow, did not use water to wet my hair. She cut the hair in front of my head, using her eye measurements and hair straightener, then repeated that on the back of my head. Of it dose not look like the haircut i asked for or the one i had before. Also its not equal in both parts. i gave a 1 sart, znd got acused that i do not know what i sm talking about. Is it me that is wrong

Well Brad, I was a guinea pig for a stylist who, I believe, doesn't have much knowledge about anything. I'm so upset because I won't do anything to my hair, I believe go to a salon. The videos of yours that the girls used box color at home turned out A LOT BETTER, than mine. I wanted platinum and come out with blue/green color. No luck here. Don't know if anyone can fix this. I probably know more (from watching your videos, then the girl who ruined mine. So I believe I have to wait at least 2 weeks to see someone who can fix it. I'll be holding back the tears til then

Brad, could you please do a tutorial on the 5-point cut (technical cut) from the 80s I had and have waist length extremely thick hair. It was permed back then. An amazing stylist taught me this cut. He divided my head into 5 sections and did an elevated, angled cut. It's magnificent. You can adjust the angle, and put a steep angle in for really long hair. I had stylists tell me it couldn't be done. This guy nailed it. I could use thinning shears after the cut and make it look incredible.
It's magic for long, thick, medium wavy/curly or spiral permed hair.

I'm 61 and have dirty blonde hair which has been falling out. I cut a lot of hair last week because my felt dry as bad I thought that cutting off hair so it's not so heavy. I cut so much of my hair just to feel healthy. Anywho, It looks uneven still able to put my hair up. I need a different color like a caramel color or Hazelnut to look more youthful. That will probably happen in September. My hair needs to grow out and breathe.

I love you brad. I got your hair dyes in the past with super blue and super purple such amazing color. I still bleaching my hair at home cause I do keep my hair short so I just bleach it but I never leave that long since I do have sensitive scalp but with your color it just changes everything with the conditioner and what you put in it. My hair feels so healthy. P. s he did not pay me to say this but I will keep buying his colors

My favorite hack for getting rid of bulky ends when im doing it myself on my own shoulder length or longer hair is to turn the scissors toward the end of my hair and just snip the flyaways and dead ends off. It effectively thins the hair without doing thick layers and without having the thinning sheers. So your scissors would be pointed down, wrist pointed outward/forwards and the elbow would be raised.

This is triggering When I was in 10th grade, my best friend was in cosmetology. I was her guinea pig. I had super thick hair, so I said she could thin it. She thinned it so much, you could see my ears through my hair on the sides. And when it grew back in, it grew back in way thicker. After that, I never let anyone near my head with those shears again.

From the years of about 2007-2012 I cut my own hair, was a lil emo, and I pretty much did everything youd. Expect to go badly and youd probs cringe to have watched brad but i promise you nobody had better hair than me. You csn make crazy decisions in those cuts but now I'm an adult with a normal people haircut I'm petrified to touch it hahaha

This video is giving me trauma flashbacks to middle school when I tried to give myself the scene haircut using thinning scissors and a disposable razor when I was done, I looked like a mushroom, there was the top layer, and the bottom layer. No blending, blunt ends, ladder cuts makes me shiver at the memory.

I went to beauty school and basically had a side hustle in college cutting my friends hair- its college so the amount of girls that had DEAD hair from crazy bleaches endless. Being able to cut that straw off is legit what Brad said. Best shit ever. ugh. Seeing the healthy hair be able to BREATHE after bruh

Oh man the memories That twist and cut thing the second girl did is exactly how all us millennials cut our own and our friends hair in our bathrooms during our emo and scene hair days. We also used razors to cut our side bangs but we only had the kind you use for your legs

I love my thinning shears. because I'm a dog groomer they are lifesavers for visor trims, and smoothing out lines made by my chunkers. My regulars love that I can soften the haircut and blend it out to appear natural, and all with my thinners. Right tool for the right job!

When the last girl tied up the bottom half of her hair, and let the top half down. It didn't even look like she was missing half of her hair. Just that top half, looked like a full haircut (before she started thinning it, I'm not surprised that hair is roasting in summer!

I guarantee the first girl thought she was putting 4 layers in her hair. The amount of times I have a client ask me how many layers I am putting in is hilarious.
Me: That is not how layers work. It is all layered. Your shortest layer start here

I thought it was going to the British version of the American Stepfather movie so it was a nice surprise and it was really good but I wish it had a better ending I knew things but I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't watched it yet

Love your videos, but I hate how you feel the need to sensationalize by editing the pics of the girls in the thumbnail to make the haircuts look worse than they actually are. So clickbaity. the majority of your followers will watch the video anyway.
