All I know is that when I stopped eating pasta and cut out high gluten food, white bread and sugary drinks, I have never felt better. I don't think I'll ever be able to go full keto but I am doing much better not eating so much filler. Also, coconut oil is amazing. The medium chain triglycerides really give you an energy boost. Love cooking with it, even just using coconut cream. Seems to be a better fat option because of how stable it is and much easier to digest.

Adam, when talking about fats, you must consider the difference between grass fed animal fats and grain/corn fed animal fats. You should also talk about cholesterol. When the qualified doctor you are talking to uses air quotes when saying LDL is bad cholesterol. Studies have shown that it is in fact triglycerides and oxidized cholesterol that cause heart disease not LDL and saturated fats. Grass fed sources of fat are actually quite healthy sources

hey Adam Ive been watching you since the broiled cookies videoIm wondering if you would consider adding closed captions to your vids to those of us who are HOH (hard of hearing) or deaf It would really helpful, and also for people who like reading subtitles just to make sure they dont miss anything. I think you can even have people who watch your vids add captions, but Im not entirely sure how it works. I hope you give it a shot cheers

By the way the problem isn't carbs like bread or pasta, it's sugar. High sugar low fat foods are worse than high fat low sugar foods. Carbs are in and of themselves no problem. The benefits many have seen from eliminating carbs come from simply consuming less calories, because in a culture where all meals are accompanied by a carb cutting said carb entirely or for a less calorie heavy substitute means that you eat less carbs

Huh, so I should definitely increase my omega 3s. But I don't really like most fish dishes (especially the ones I can afford. Do fish oil tablets really work? I've heard that dietary and vitamin supplements often have low absorption rates, because they're not contained in regular food. Is this true, or at least true for fish oil? Can I derive the same benefits from taking a tablet that I could from eating more fish?

I am Asian and this is probably just me. I eat shittons of food, 1 kg of food per meal, 2 meals per day. Most foods are high in fat. I eat like this almost everyday and I still rarely gain weight. But whenever I eat sweets or sugary drinks, I will gain weight drastically. Now I only eat sweets like once per month and still staying healthy. I still can't believe that people were told that sugar is better than fats.

Also margarine was also a big failure of a food experiment. At the time fats were not yet recognised as belonging to different distinct categories. So margarine was developed as a substitute for butter and oil that has way less total fats. However margarine is virtually all trans fats instead of other healthier types of fats, and as a result way more unhealthy than let's say butter or animal fats like tallow.

Of course too much of a good thing is a bad thing, were just saying fat is a lot healthier then sugars and starches, however just like some fats are more unhealthy for you so are some sugars(such as high frutose corn syrup because it doesnt trigger the full responce, also theres such thing as the ketogenic diet(high fats and protiens, low starches and sugars) just saying.

I cant do anything wrong. I cook my steak with vegetable oil, olive oil, coconut oil and then butter and eat it with fish soup. But seriously dont eat sugar except from fruits, thats worse than anything. Nice video man this is some great quality you wont find often. Keep on working and do more sponsorships so your family and you arent going out of fat.
