Omg I am of indian origin and my family came from indian 100 years ago to Trinidad we say 'chunkay' when we fry spices separately and pour over food Its nice to now that these words have survived for so long in my family: ) And chutney for me is an uncooked condiment just like you made. Your toast looks soooooooo good. I want to make it now. Indian food in Trinidad is not as complex, we didnt have access to many spices and have been away from India for very long, and I love to try indian food from india.

Right at the part where she's chopping the cilantro I'm thinking Well, it's basically parsley and hovering my hand on the mouse to google if I can substitute with parsley. and then she says Don't sub with parsley -- I will personally come find you and the camera zooms on her face. I might have had a tiny heart attack. Cool recipe though Might try. With cilantro.

I made a lot of this and it was my lunch for the entire week, haha. It tastes absolutely savory and it's perfect I'm curious how much better it would taste if I used Priya's dad's yogurt. Anyway, I used some caramelised onion chutney instead, and I used gochujaru (Korean chili flakes) in the spiced yogurt instead of chili pepper. Still tasted A+++.

I'm a little disappointed. With all the amazing Indian cuisine she can showcase and probably even experiment doing some fusion. The dishes she makes seems like what I would whip up at night even after no culinary experience. I really think she needs to step up her game. Her compatriots are creating some real challenges.

It's Chowk not Chonk. And when you say Indian cooking please refer to the part of India you are from because in different parts type of cooking is different and curry leaves are used mostly in South India. I have definitely eaten dahi kabeb but dahi toast what is that being an Indian never heard of it.

I just finished making it, and it was very tasty. I didnt think I would like the filling as much as I did. I used a jalepeno instead of serano with the yogurt. I also think ketchup is a must. I loved the cilantro chutney but the mix of ketchup was perfect at the end of each bite.

Love love love She's so cool More Indian food pleaseeee-- its the one thing I feel like BA could really use, especially for people watching from the UK. It's so healthy and wholesome, but I never cook it because I mostly watch BA and NYT, and no one does ethnic food

please do not ever sub out cilantro for parsley10% of us are genetically pre-disposed to dislike cilantro ='(I was thinking this whole video how delicious that looked but that if I actually tasted it it would be like eating a soap sandwich dipped in soap sauce

I saw Priya in the Green Space at the WNYC Studios in NYC. She is incredibly intelligent and articulate, and not to mention very charming. I loved this video. So excited see Priya excel as a chef and media personality in the coming years. BA, we need more Priya
