These are my absolute favorite cookies. I've made them at least 4 times now. I've never tried them with chocolate wafers, but I always have dark chocolate on hand that I just chop. I love the variation in size that you get. Little shavings that melt into the cookies and then large chunks that give you big chocolatey bites. yum. The addition of toffee and the browned butter are really what makes it though. Hot damn. Thanks Rick

As someone who has made these cookies 20 times since watching this video. I agree. These cookies are f good. They are the ultimate starter recipe to tweak because it's so delicious you can only make it better by adding homemade toffee, even more browned butter, 82% cacao bar. The possibilities are endless. I would never try another chocolate chip recipe again.

Help I can't find Skor bars, or any chocolate toffee bars for that matter, where I'm located (Japan. Any thoughts on what to use as a substitute? Maybe try making my own toffee? The only thing close I could find was Werther's Original Chewy Toffees. But then I still don't know how much chocolate to put in (Skor bars have chocolate covering the toffee, right.

Okay here's the tea I thought he was exaggerating how good these cookies were. but they are seriously amazing I took them to a super bowl party and everyone voted them the best food there The dark chocolate disks and brown butter make the difference I'm telling you if you haven't made these cookies yet you're missing out

The Cookie sounds delicious & I like his detailed tips to be successful at this recipe. However, his wearing women's fingernail polish is SO EXTREMELY DISTURBING & distracting & causes me to feel VERY UNcomfortable. He is not a woman but a man. The vulgar cursing at the end was unnecessary & a turn-off as well.

I'd like to make a suggestion to improve on this recipe: Bourbon. I've experimented with adding bourbon to the wet ingredients, this results in a lighter airier cookie due to the ethanol evaporation. If you wanna keep the texture the same. Reduce the bourbon before adding it.

I saw a cookie like this in a tasty video and I was like I dont feel like its possible that Tasty came up with something like this. It looks too good then come to find out they stole it from BA. Ive seen like four tasty videos today that have stolen ideas directly from BA.

does all butter brown? ive tried for this recipe but my butter has boiled for probably 20 minutes without any signs of browning so i just gave up and used the butter as is, which still turned out great, but im wondering if theres anything else to consider?

I've made this recipe three times now, and for anyone whose cookies turn into a greasy flat blob, I highly recommend chilling the dough before use. My cookies turned out exponentially better compared to when simply resting the dough.

I made these this evening and they were incredible Rick describes them perfectly. They were easy to make, just a bit time consuming. The hardest part was wandering around an unfamiliar grocery store to find the ingredients
