One dish. Two days. We challenged super taster Chris Morocco to blindly taste a dish made by Carla and then reverse engineer it as closely to the original as he can. The challenge this episode: Gordon Ramsay's Beef Wellington. P. S. We really just wanted to see Chris wear that sloth blindfold. Very worth it

The trick with keeping it from cracking open in the oven is by indeed making little slices in the pastry. But Also not fold the pastry around the meat but lay a layer of plastic foil under the pastry. Then wrapping and pushing the foil around the meat. And at last taking the 2 corners of the foil (has to be wider then the pastry) and then roll it on the counter. Like a candy wrapped in foil. That way you keep air out of the Wellington

15: 27 I'm so confused about what she isn't mad about and why her face and tone seem as if you just told her you crashed her car. (Pause the video right after she finishes her sentence and look at her body language and expression)I find Molly to have an angry disposition in general and I'm usually confused why she seems to lose her cool at times.

Considering he was blindfolded he did really good, he was super close this guy is really talented on a high level. Just wow I would of never been able to get anywhere close to what he made I can cook but at a mediocre level but this was a very entertaining episode. I now have a higher appreciation for cooking gourmet food and or fine dining

I know when cooking some times its hard to make what you do zero waste, but I think you could give him some reusable non plastic or paper bags for the shopping, for fruits and vegetables and for the hole groceries: ) love the show though. Just think it will be nice and make more people do it too because they see it here with you guys.

So chris is ridiculously talented. but I've gotta say. a meat disc in pastry, with something hammy and mushroomy around it? This is obviously Wellington. He probably knew it was Wellington in the first 2 minutes and just sort of hammed it up after that.

Vital Farms Pasture Raised Eggs are the best eggs out there, they are crazy pricy at 6 a dozen but not only are they the best Ive ever tasted but the hens have a crazy amount of room to roam and are treated the best out of any farm Ive heard of

As someone who works in the deli section, we understand you want a certain thickness but please dont touch it, if I got caught chucking that piece in the bin because you want it thinner or thicker Id get in trouble for wasting food

I love those who test themselves in hard challenges, pros already on top of the world striving for even more, just thinking about being that ambitious and valiant, makes me shiver for excitement, it makes me wanna try harder too.

What I don't understand is why doesn't he just say its beef Wellington but we're gonna analyse it because our standard knowlege can be our downfall. I automatically assume he knows what it is because we'll its Chris morroco

It's crazy that his assessment of what the culinary background was dead-on because gordon is a brit trained in the old french style. So old stodgy french re-purposed by the brits is so accurate it's scary
