Aloha Brad Leone is back for season two of 'It's Alive: Goin' Places' and this time he's exploring the islands of Hawaii. Join Brad as he learns how to spearfish off the coast of Kona. Come for the spearfishing, stay for a pleasantly nervous Brad Leone as he prepares to dive down to the ocean floor

It pains me to watch them spear big beautiful tangs like that. I mean there's nothing wrong with it; they're certainly showing more respect to the animals than most hunters do, let alone slaughterhouses. But I keep reef aquariums - to me, those are pets, not food. Also, lol, some of those fish would have gone for 200+ in the pet trade. Ironically, both an extremely cheap and extremely expensive meal, all at the same time.

Gaming or sporting hunters need to take a lesson from this. Kill only what you want to eat and respect the animal who is your food. Dont hunt just to kill or use animals as trophies to assert your dominance in the food chain. Understand keeping your distance away from protected species and eat what is plentiful.

this was one of the most beautiful episodes ive watched of its alive, or of anything ever. the ocean and the creatures are so so special and to see them be respected and cherished while they provide. its really amazing. loved watching

Haha, the Humuhumunukunukuapua'a are any of two species of triggerfish; the reef trigger and the Picasso trigger. Anything that looks like a colorful fish with a parrot-like beak should be refrained from being hunted in Hawai'i.

You really appreciate animals and what they provide for us when you watch the whole process of how meat is retrieved and cooked. Fish is super sustainable compared to beef pork and chicken so I hope more people eat it

Man I've caught and released octopus tons of times in the FL keys for fun, even though I've eaten octopus in restaurants I've never thought of preparing one myself. Gonna have to do this next time.

I don't even eat meat or fish but i really like how in this show they really care about sustainability and local buisness and how hunting or fishing serves a purpose in the community there

Her speargun position when she was getting the octopus off her arm scared the daylights out of me. never trust a loaded speargun. and if anything, face the buggah down, not up.

I'm watching the Hawaii episode of Gordon Ramsay and ITS THE SAME GIRL like I know BA and Ramsay have a lot of common ground but somehow I'm still surprised/excited.

I know the fricking Humuhumunukunukuapua'a from High School Musical 2. The hilarious deleted song with Sharpay and Ryan I didn't even know that it was a fish haha
