What better way to end a Hawaiian excursion than with a food tour. Join Brad as he stops by some local favorites, like Original Big Island Shave Ice Co. (guess what he gets there, Tamura's Market (for the poke) and finally Ka'aha'aina Cafe (for everything

Ok so I went to Hawaii a couple of weeks ago and put original big island shaved ice co in my bookmarks. We werent gonna go anymore because a little far from the resort BUT as we were driving to the volcano national park and looking for a bathroom, there it was. A beautiful blue food truck in a lot with people enjoying their shaved ice outside. Humid. But also maybe sprinkling? Who cares. We stopped. We got it. And I am so sad we did because I DONT LIVE IN HAWAII. The texture was sooooo fine and soft and I eat super slow but it wasnt melting and they put Mochi on top that was so soft and wasnt touch to chew man. Im going to be sad until my next trip to Hawaii. Someone please something like big island shaved ice on mainland. Specifically California.

I absolutely loved this season of Its Alive. Before this season I was completely oblivious to the culture in Hawaii, but now I have this sense of joy knowing that family and the preservation of culture is still relevant in many places. This series absolutely warmed my heart and I am excited to learn more Thank you BA, for advocating traveling and the understanding of other cultures.

In case any of BA's loyal fan base is wondering. most air filling stations will offer water because if you spray water all over the tire, leaks will create bubbles so you can pinpoint the defect(s) in your tire. So if you're tire pressure light is on, just use the water to find out where it's coming from and then inform your mechanic: )

Appreciate the love sent to Tamuras Lotta days spent in college on the beaches of West Side wit a bowl of Tamuras Market Poke in one hand and a Heineken in the other. Saw you left the unagi sauce off, but Ill let it slide Good times are always found on the islands of Hawaii.

Gosh I could tell that that last guyfrom Kaahaaina thought he would be eating with Brad Look at how he holds a spoon at the start then slowly sets it aside He even went for it at around 14: 34 when Brad went back for the pudding

The taro leaf sauce in that dish at the end is a big thing in Trinidad. We call it callaloo. Stripped and stewed taro leaves in basically a stock, served as a soup or reduced to a sauce. It's amazing with crab

Does anyone have any idea how much it would cost to take 2 people to do all the things Brad did Hawaii including the spearfishing, mountain climbing and boar hunting? Trying to go an a vacation as awesome as that

My cousin lives on the big island and I keep jokingly telling her I'm moving in, this home season just made those feeling even stronger. Oklahoma is like a sewer compared to Hawaii
