Fun story - yawning being contagious is an emotional, empathetic response to the other person being tired, so the reason that you yawn too is because you're feeling sympathetic to the plight of the other person being tired. It's sometimes a thing that psychiatrists will use to gauge empathy in a person, especially when attempting to make a psychopathic or sociopathic diagnosis. Because they are either mostly or completely devoid of emotion, or the ability to feel emotion in the way that normal people do, not being contagious to yawning can be a very telling sign of their mental state.

Am I the only one who thinks Pocky is kind of overrated. I mean they are good but I think they are kind of a hipster snack meaning it has the Starbucks effect where it has a cool factor if you know what Pocky is and eat Pocky. THE STRAWBERRY IS BOMB AND THE CHOCOLATE IS GOOD TOO. BUT SOMETHING TO GET OVERLY EXCITED ABOUT? NAHHH. IS IT ANYONES GO TO FAVORITE SNACK EVER? MAYBE LITERAL BABIES THAT ARENT ALLOWED TOO MUCH SUGAR OR PEOPLE WATCHING THEIR WEIGHT?

Im Japanese, and in Japan on 11th November, its Called POCKEY DAY. Its like commercial things first, but nowadays its a bit of event among youngsters. I remember when I was in a high school and college, had bought a bunch of pockies on the day and went to the school. Nostalgic. Were sorry for the person whos the birthday on the day, cause. youll only get just only POCKIES

I dont think we have pocky here in England. Edit: Wait. We do, theyre just called mikados. Theyre longer and thinner (Thats what I remember anyway) and as much as I know, they only do white and milk chocolate. I might be wrong though. The milk chocolate ones are so good. I want some now. I havent had any for a year and a half.

I think Pocky is more of a pretzel or those super hard individually packaged bread sticks with the sesame seeds that you can get at some restaurants with soups and such consistency than a cookie hmm

OMG Pocky is my FAVORITE I love it sooo much They make so many flavors that are really hard to find in the states or at least in PA. I'm tempted to try and make them myself but I'm not a pro baker

I SO badly wanted her to try the almond Pocky. That. s my all time favorite one I bet she would have slayed with that flavor and I really think she would have liked it too.
