You know, salmon ice cream isn't as bad as it sounds, though maybe don't give it to your children unless they know what they're signing up for. Join Amiel Stanek as he attempts to cook salmon in almost every way possible, including pan-seared, coffee machine-cooked and moss-wrapped over campfire

Best way to cook salmon: 1 Go salmon fishing at the mouth of the Columbia River in Washington State. 2 Try not to die. 3 Catch salmon. 4 Go back to campsite and clean whole fish. 5 Cut off head if you don't like dead fish staring at you. 6 Stuff inside of fish with sliced white onions and sliced lemon and then wrap in aluminium foil. 7 Throw on charcoal or campfire grill. 8 Cook til looks and smells done and eat with whatever else you want and some cold beer.

Fell asleep and woke up to this playing. Sorry Amiel but youll now forever be a sassy hyvee free sample person who is having trouble understanding the increasing crowd gathering at the impromptu cooking class youve put on at a roadside price chopper somewhere in the southwest off the highway. Its also part rundown motel with a large pool. And you look like a mix of Elizabeth warren and David Bowie.

Hi, You definitely should have mentioned that not all salmon can be prepared as sashimi, as raw fish can contain parasites that are dangerous for human consumption. Salmon should only be consumed as sashimi when using farmed salmon, not wild-caught. I hope you can be more responsible next time with how you educate people on fish preparation.

I love making salmon wellington -- I take a nice piece of salmon and lay in on some puff pastry, mix together some cream cheese, spinach, salt, pepper, and dill, spread the mixture on top of the salmon, and wrap it up in the puff pastry before baking it in the oven. Super tasty and it looks impressive for dinner parties.

I still don't understand why he has to do hand movements and mouth sounds on his voice overs. We all know he's doing voice overs. I just mute this video now so I don't have to hear his fake chewing. And what's with the jewelry? We will know it's Amiel, everyone has different hands, easy to tell apart.

Pan-seared is amazing, but what you did to the grilled salmon is a crime. Don't try to pass that off like that is somehow representative of grilled salmon. That's a poorly cut, poorly cooked salmon that you put on a grill. You should have just cut another piece and done it again.

I usually make a salmon Wellington. I make a filling with cream cheese, garlic, green onion, parm, spinachvand finely chopped mushrooms, top the salmon with it, wrap it all in puff pastry and bake. It's my fav.

I like canning salmon with dill, pepper, paprika, a bit of cream, and a couple lemon slices on top. Comes out with a great texture and flavor, and the cream firms just enough around everything to feel like sour cream.
