I don't understand what's so bad about synthetic coloring. It's bright, its cheap, it doesn't harm you unless you have like an obscure allergy (in fact the natural ones are more likely to be allergenic to more people, and it doesn't impact a food's taste (though red dyes can taste bitter to some. Natural doesn't mean good and artificial doesn't mean bad. It's pretentious to tout naturalness as superior, to be honest.

Nail polish on guys--mmmm, makes me wonder about the dirt hiding underneath. Nope, not a good look on males. Can't concentrate on the cookies, just weirded out by the nails. Ewwww, gross. On women, Ok. Looks chic and feminine. Just bizarre if there's a beard on the face. Rather see a plain man-i-cure. No polish, just a buff. Doesn't look trustworthy. Mr. Horse says, No sir, I don't like it.

rick understands me. it IS a cookie emergency and i therefore do NOT wanna wait 4 hours to have cookies. i want em NOW. this recipe is gonna be a life saver for the holidays. i love rick. i love my dad. what beautiful fingernail polish. what an entrance what a ballad at the end. rick is the best.

this would be soo great to decorate with kids bc they can make a mess and it just adds to it and still looks pretty it almost neve going well when kids have a million piping bag or sprinkles thy can dump everywhere

What I love about Rick's recipes is that he explains why he's using the ingredients that he's using and he is really clear about how each step should look and feel. He makes you want to make the recipe.
