Join Priya Krishna in the Bon Apptit Test Kitchen as she makes potato pepper sabzi. The classic Indian marriage of snappy, sweet red peppers and crisped potatoes gets a jolt of flavor from crushed peanuts, toasted cumin and fennel seeds, and a spritz (or more) of lime juice

Indian food usually has a much deeper flavour profile with more complex spice blends. Most of Priyas recipes are simplified versions and appear to be Americanised Indian food. They're probably a good introduction to Indian flavours for those that have never tried Indian food before and have always felt a little intimidated.

I don't know why I've never seen a Priya-centric vid before, I'm always seeing her pop onto other videos, but before this I never gave myself the chance to watch her actually cook. Guess now I have a crush on her, she's just so sweet and pretty. Also I love bell peppers too.

This video has so many twists and turns. First you think it's Priya making Indian dinner. But no. It's Priya making Texan breakfast. Then it tuns out it was Gabby's video. In the end Priya is on her way to Arkham Asylum.

I think Priya needs to Visit India once and learn how dishes are prepared here A kid here can prepare what ever she prepared right now. This is not BA kitchen worthy No hate. But she needs to learn more about Indian Cuisine.

Literally just noticed she is the only one who cooks bell peppers in the BATK Thanks Priya I loooove bell peppers And obviously Brad likes them too because he's an awesome crab fishing noodling expert badass

Worried Priya isnt really picking the best variety in Indian. Too much simple snacks and sautees. Try saag. Gol gappe. Yogurt Kadi. Pumpkin Erissery. Hope you read this and improvise into future videos

Who cooks food like this in india. This is so annoying to watch, just adding some random things on a pan and calling it a dish. All her videos are like this. Really an insult to indian cuisine.

I have a question, correct me if I'm wrong but I think I saw Sohla makes video and I save it for later and now I am looking for it and can't find it or I just hallucinating here?

I dig that, it kinda reminds me of Papas Rachero, which is pretty much the same baseline but you add hot peppers and a bit of cheese to the mix. (the spicier the better)

We could've killed someone in here - yeah, me for example, with all those garlic-heavy recipes. This one sounds REALLY nummy though, might give it a try sometime: )
