Chris separating cloves like a boss at 1: 00 - It's not always as easy as good old John Favreau did but. Also, the expression on Chris's face is gold at the very end, when Molly asks I wonder what they would do in a movie where they were representing the Bon Appetit test kitchenAlso, Christina is awesome in this episode

Clearly not one person at BA has seen any of the behind the scenes of Chef or any of the The Chef Show episodes. Jon was trained by the guy in The Chef Show for everything he did in the movie. Yes, that is Jon chopping. Yes, that is Jon butchering.

I'm moderately offended they teased the Favreau/Johansson pasta scene but didn't show them critiquing it. Not that I actually care that much what they think of the technique but I'll take ScarJo making come get me eyes any way I can get them.

Jon Favreau spent months with a professional chef and legit learned how to cook for the Chef movie guys. He has a cooking show called Chef Show on Netflix with the same chef he worked with. It's fun, I'd recommend.

Jon Favreau didn't take a crash course in cooking for the movie. he learned to cook for real. Please see the Chef series on Netflix for more information on this, and his relationship with his tutor chef.

Lol they didnt understand the Gilmore Girls part. Sookie is an amazing chef but shes clumsy and kinda careless so the other workers have mastered a system to reduce accidents. Its for comedic relief

Come on Bon Appetit, you have so much wonderful original programming, you don't need to copy other people's bits to try and jump on internet fad band wagons. You're better then that.

Check out Jon's show on Netflix called The Chef Show. It's great, he makes food and talks to awesome people, including Roy Choi who trained him for the movie.
