Join Samantha Seneviratne in her home kitchen as she make cardamom cream and maple-glazed doughnuts. This recipe does include deep frying, but it's not as scary as it seems. Just stick with Samantha and you'll be fine! madhatterx3: HERE YE! HERE YE! I see many commenters speaking about how they feel sorry for Bon Apetit s new parade of POC members! But let s be happy for our brothers and sisters getting, I would have to assume, a large coin! Let them capitalize like how Bon apetit capitalized before!

I feel like she was the best of the new people. I gave the video a thumbs up but my biggest problem with these videos is that we were attached to the old group. We invested in them and not the company. With all these new people, there is no investment yet but they are creating videos as if we are. There needs to be more introduction and more time to get to know them. The integration of the new cast is not being done well and it's frustrating to watch the company waste an opportunity like this.
Correction: It's frustrating to see a company given a second chance and not take full advantage of that second chance. Instead they try to pander.

Remember when BA didn't pander to POC because of not following good business practices with pay. yea I do too, now I feel pandered too. BA just fix the business practice, don't force POC on us as a fix to your mistake. there's no relationship between hosts or even between your viewers. I am debating on just watching all the old good episodes or unsubscribing. one more video BA. one more chance let's see what you decide

Nowadays there is no need to proof active dry yeast. You can mix it in with the flour and it works just fine. I have made hundreds of loaves of bread with active dry yeast that I keep in my freezer and sprinkle it into the bread frozen and have never had a problem. They always do that on these cooking videos for some reason

I loved BA videos for the personalities of the presenters. Anyone can make a cooking video but doing it with interesting characters is where you next level the process. While the new people seem nice, they lack personality. Conde Nast chose diversity over watchability?

As much as she seems lovely (and her recipe delicious, the way this is being presented feels horrible. no acknowledgment, no proper apology. are these people even making more than the people who were discriminated against?

Some nice tips here. Putting the donuts on little squares of parchment is a great idea.
Reducing the maple syrup for the glaze is a great idea. Pinching the dough instead of rerolling is brilliant. I'm impressed.

The host is great, the food looks great, but I am just so unsure about BA after that fiasco. I want to support the people working but I don't want BA to think it's forgive and forget for me yet.

Are these supposed to be like auditions? I mean that makes sense. kinda. Still seems like y'all took off your brown blocker sunglasses and threw a camera in front of anyone with a working spatula
