I'm gonna guess the graffiti piece in the background is painted with all Ironlak. It looks like their color palette. Super punchy and vibrant. I've been into their colors lately. The letters are funky, for sure. I don't know if the writer got heatstroke and forgot to clean up a bunch of mistakes, it's happened to me, but that piece is kinda filthy. They obviously cared enough to go back with finishing details, so why not clean up the green cutback in the upper swoop of the S, or tighten up that merge in the crook of the K for example? If I'm doing a paid commission, I bring out my A game and make it look like something I have a harder time nitpicking down the road.

i guess that was the perfect reaction you had when you were 6 years old. i love your videos but one thing i am asking myself for the past few years: why do we eat animals? why are we causing so much suffering on this planet when there are alternative foods? i remember i reacted the same way when i was a child and realized that other creatures are getting killed so we can eat them. anyways, keep up the great work.

theres everything on eater. and then theres this series which is so far out in front of everything else. From the production quality, to the host. Lucas actually makes you feel like you're there experiencing it with him rather than just watching a video. Hats off to you Lucas I cant say enough good things about the work you're doing for eater.

cool! nice episode - always informative and entertaining. :D I grew up in Houston, lots of crawfish boils. If you liked it you can also try one of the Vietnamese-Cajun style crawfish places (like The Boiling Crab here in Los Angeles - or of course there are a bunch of spots in Houston/southeast Texas.

How many Crayfish (or 'Crawfish') do you get for a dime! Are they actually cheap food? Also, I heard that the US crayfish are an invasive species that are taking over the UK rivers (where I'm from, and driving out our native equivalents. So eating them here, at least, is a form of environmentalism!

I was kinda disappointed I didn't get to see you eat the corn and potatoes. The first time my best friend had crawfish, I convinced her that she should eat the potatoes if the heat was getting to be too much for her. Her reaction was hilarious. (yes I am evil, and yes we are still friends)

Such a GREAT series! Love eater! You should really do a tour through some legit creole and Cajun cities though. There are some crawfish/crab boils that, unless you just aren't into it, I feel would make you very surprised at just how delicious they are! However, I'm a PROUD Louisianaian!

haha, i like how you broke it down for him in hipster review style. He's all you get people together and have a time and you're like it's about the tactile experience. Yeah, same with crabs too-- though there's the backfin hack that makes bluecrab a lot more profitable.

You can't suck out the juice/guts which is the best part of the crawfish if you don't bite and crush the head. every time I see people suck the head like sucking on a straw I get so frustrated! I know he's an amateur on eating crawfish but damn!
