Who says that the animal does not feel pain when it is killed when a couple of its veins and its wind pipe are cut? If you see the fear and pain in the eyes of the animal being slaughtered, you will see that not only is there pain, there is also that look of panic as soon as the knife cuts into the throat of the animal. For it to actually look death in the face for a long time while the blood drains from its body, and to feel it coming, cannot be good for the eater's health either. In many research papers it was found that the fear creates hormones of fight and flight impulse in the animal and since it cannot run, as it watches its own death, the hormones settle in the muscles of the animal. Long term eating of such meat is unhealthy for any human. It creates excitable and easily violent individuals. This might have been good for Islam in the early days when it needed to be spread with the sword, but in today's peaceful days, it only attracts such individuals towards easy violence and ISS type of organizations. Saying that dhabiha is a healthy or kind way of killing an animal is like saying that Islam is a peaceful religion. Only Muslims can say that. Changing the chemistry of the body to a more violent one and then wondering why even educated Muslims get seduced into ISS like organizations and violence of the worst sort, is really silly.

A lot of people here in the West think that somehow in Pakistan, Bangladesha and other countries that claim halal are somehow following some kind of strict protocol, in reality they do not have time for that or have the will. Halal stipulates they use sharp blades, yet sometimes they dont. People here in the West who never been to other countries have this notion that there is some kind of Shangri-la over there. There isnt. To save face they act like its halal but it often isnt unless you have a family who actually raises the animal and then slaughters it properly (which if they raised the animal they do in fact give much respect to the animal and they ensure it is in accordance) but often these meats sold at halal stores are no better than other meat and the greedy store owners just mark up the price.

I think the female host was immature 1) the converse highschool shoes2) her body language, lots of head nodding, uninterested eyes while our fellow Muslim brother was speaking about relevant material, material that was relevant to the whole point of having this show. 3) her lack of modesty when entering another culture's environment. Lacking a hijab, and proper professional clothing4) She was not even taking notes during the discussion so that she could reflect upon relevant material directly derived from the conversation Eater needs to speak with this person, and perhaps consider a more passionate and more deserving candidate for future muslim Halal shows.

That's where Hinduism and Islam differs. Hinduism/Buddhism/Jainism- Nature and Human can coexist in harmonious relationship. You shouldn't have to kill animals, do the least harm to gather food and protct nature(Mountain rivers, wetlands etc, Flora(Tress, herbs, shrubs, and Fauna(Cows, Feed birds with food water etc) (First priority. Islam- Nature is meant for consumption and everything two/four legged is apt to kill execpt few. They kill in the name of God just to please thier hunger. I know plants have sense too, but its least harmful as they have less no. Of senses than animals and humans. So yea!

The animal is left bleeding in pain and the loss of blood will most probably result in less iron content which is an essential mineral. Prayer! So what if a nonMuslim applies for the job! He is going to be rejected just because he cant say the prayer? That is an ugly form of discrimination against nonMuslims which should be condemned instead of advocated.
