I keep coming back and watching this video and I just love the way Rodney tells the story. And the fact that it's family owned and operated, I would go in there in a heartbeat and enjoy everything on the menu! The process and the pits are amazing and just the kinda folks you want to do business with and know your food is cooked with love and care. Bravo Rodney & family! :)

My wife is from a little place called Dorchester, SC. And I have helped her uncle make this exact style of whole hog bbq a few times. Right down to the vinegar pepper sauce. Even though that place is in the middle of mustard based territory, her uncle preferred the vinegar pepper mop. Yummy que!

I really appreciate how there isn't any unnecessary background music and the video was kept simple yet everything from the start to the end of the bbq process was covered. And the folks in the video are really genuine and the pitmaster carried no pretence. Brilliant!

You know how I can tell the food is good before I even taste it? By seeing the passion and love of the craft in this man's demeanor and eyes. His whole being is thrown into the craft with a fiery passion. Love seeing this in people!

Vinegar/pepper based sauce is the best if not tomato based KC style. Mustard sauce is good but more aquired taste or less common taste. I like them all. Buffalo style sauce might be my least favorite, though vinegary and spicy.

I loved this video. Probably because when I was just a kid I was raised in north Carolina in a small town called Roanoke rapids NC / Seaboard NC. To this day I can not find the ice tea that i was raised up in.
