Most Wagyu videos make sure to illustrate the level of dedication farmer's have for their animals, the care taken to insure they live healthy stress free lives, and the pride of the art. Nick Solares skips all that and plays terrible punk music over a 3 minute clip of a slaughter house. He ends by making the hosts uncomfortable. Good work.

Is this guy an idiot? I raised Anguscows for years. The animals I have seen and been around we're over 1400 lbs. That is 635 kg. I don't know where this idiot gets his meat but it must be midget cow. Really doesn't sound like an American either. This guy knows nothing about meat.

Aside from him not going into much detail, he showed us the basics. As as personal opinion, this video showed me why there isn't much bone in wagyu steak in Japan. Proper video. May I suggest Nick trying out the different bisteccas in Italy. Might be worth his while.

I loved the video but come on you got to visit one of the or the most prestigious factory in the world and you make a less than 4 minute video? I appreciate the video ill take what I can get it just seems like such a wasted trip for a less than 4 minute of video.

80% of the japanese have never eaten wagyu beef, since its terribly expensive and not so many steak restaurants offer wagyu. the wagyu restaurants concentrate in the wagyu production areas. i could eat the steaks if i got client dinner. haha. from japan.

that is beyond prime. seriously nick, are you really comparing wagyu to freaking prime again? -_-; next time you visit a top steak house in NYC or something, you can go this steak is slightly better than a McDonald's beef patty!

That's interesting, I've never really considered that Japan has a completely different culture around steak. They've got this amazing wagyu beef but I've never really heard of Japanese steakhouse-style beef.

3: 01 I wonder if they would give those wagyu rib bones for free since it looks like they are discarding them. I would saw those in quarters and put them in a giant pot to make the best beef stock on earth

Wow! If i will only trust one nationality to handle my food i would want that to be the Japanese the intricacy and care they put into everything they do is so amazing.

Do any one out there guess why wagyu is so expensive, well I will tell you. the MORONS that have more money than brains. Wagyu are bought and sold every day in Texas.
