Abalone is superb tasting. It is also much more expensive than any kind of shell fish, bar none. The dried abalone (typically found in Asia and specialty Asian can cost several thousand USD per kg. Abalone is rather chewy, I think some restaurant make little tiny cuts on the meat to make it easier to chew. I am sure there are other methods too. But oh, the taste!

for me this is overdoing it. i like fresh abalone right out of the shell, maybe cooked with light soy sauce. not more than that is needed. it's funny also how this shellfish is consider so luxurious in french or NY but in Taiwan they eat it like a snack and it's so cheap and available in every see food market

I really like this host. She brings a lot of knowledge and she is so darned excited and interested in everything that is going on but not in an over the top or ridiculous way. Just like a true admiration for the work and the people she is meeting here. I'd like to see more of her content.

As a watchmaker, I've seen a lot of the grimy build-up that can accumulate under a watch. I've seen some watches that I had to do with extra care because they were owned by famous chefs. The gunk under their watch made me throw up a little. Don't ever wear a watch while cooking.

Video was great. Terrible host. I like her personality and I hate it at the same time. I think she came off a bit like a teachers pet with these famous chefs around her. Very knowledgeable but over zealous to say the least

Nice to see Nyesha branching out and doing things like this. Always loved her personality on Top Chef and her food is real good also. I like these chef driven series (Sheldon, Marcus) and now Nyesha. Keep it coming

This is one of the best Episodes of Cooking I've ever watched in my Life1 The host is amazingg, Chefs very friendly, honest and gentle. The editing also smooth! I smiled all the way through this episode.

The host is terrible. There was no structure to the presentation, it was talking over one another constantly when the host should really let the chefs speak. Not continually expose her own naivete.

you can tell that chef enjoyed teaching her, most chefs will just scram out the show hosts as they get annoying asking obnoxious question's, not only was she gorgeous but very sharp(pun intended.

She is outstanding! I really hope they got a few episodes shot before this damn corona ruined the whole industry cuz I want more. I can see how knowledgeable she is and is respected for it.
