I love this host. Matthew Kang's shows are lively, colorful and relevant. Also has a way of describing food so we can all understand the deliciousness of it all! I love his personality, joy of eating and his funny parents! Keep it up Eater. This man is your ace. For those criticizing this menu and grousing that you have to pay for it, where I live, that yukwe, seasoned raw beef with pears costs 13. 00 a plate. It's not the regular, ordinary banchan that normally comes free. This restaurant is beckoning to your palate to experience new things. The banchan here with rice is a full meal. Trust me on that. You wouldn't find these on a regular Korean BBQ menu. And so if it's regular' you want, have at it. I, for one delight in the inventiveness of the chef.

People should keep in mind this is Matthew's views of attempting to widen the scope of Korean food to the mainstream audience. You can tell he's not trying to go into the deep end but instead trying to edit what he thinks people would like. Its like a paid yelp review which is the common editor's mistake. Hopefully Matthew will get deeper into the cultural aspect of the food at these restaurants and make more long form videos or focus on telling the human stories of the owners and why they created the dishes. In any case, more substance would be nice.
