This is literally something the Chinese have been making for centuries, essentially the exact dish. I am all for cultural merges (especially when it comes to food, but I would like to see Eater pay a little attention to Chinese food and maybe give some shoutout to the Chinese. So much of the Asian food Eater has featured originated from China/are heavily influenced by a similar Chinese dish. Even majority of the ingredients from this dish originated from China.

There was a place in NYC's Koreatown that I use to get this at, but it's closed. Where are people getting their Samgye tang in NYC? I've had the one at Five Sense, but it wasn't the same.

It reminds me of the French dish, chicken pot-au-feu, which is really delicious. It has the same kind of medical feeling to it. I definitely want to try this version.
