For the same amount of money in Canada you get a whole filet of filet mignon which yield about 12 massive portion 12 oz min. And you get a whole rack of ny strip. Which give you another 12 amazing steak, and you still have enough money for 3 whole chicken and the vegetable. NY is insanely expensive in tax, and we believed that Canada was totally dumbed down to these socialist insanity, NY is gone! Guess what, no one tells us how much pop we can drink neither. dam Stalin is running your neck of the wood, soon Bath soup will be on the menus because thats all people will be able to afford, if anything they will make rats a delicacy, that they will never run out of.

I'm in southern california and everywhere I go, whole chickens cost the same as or more than pieces. Typically it's about 1. 99 per lb, but often on sale for 0. 79 - 0. 99 per pound for foster farms regular chicken. What's even weirder is that I can buy the chickens already cooked and Costco or smart n final for less than the raw ones. Strange world we live in lol

To all the price haters: that is what meat costs when the animal is raised on pasture and the farmer makes a living wage. The only way you're getting cheaper meat is because the animals are crammed into factory farms and tended by illegal immigrants. There's a reason people in the past ate way less meat than we do today---it was just too expensive!

Tri-Tip now your talking meat. Hard to come by at the grocery stores in Michigan. If you go to mom and pop meat market they will cut one for you for around 10-11 bucks a pound which is way to much. I discovered it in California for about 4-5 bucks a pound and fell in love with it!

Whole pork loin, cut into 1/2 - 3/4 chops. Grill on high heat for 60 seconds per side (or to 145 degrees. Serve with a dallop of green chili, roasted peppers, and charred whole wheat tortillas. Youll feed 30 people for 40. Spend the balance on booze.

so glad don; 't live there, 20 for a single chicken, hell I can buy a whole cooked rotisserie chicken for 7. 99. similar size. and that's from the high priced supermarket. new york prices are outrageous. I know rent there is insane. can't imagine gas prices.

For 200 I can get a whole Ribeye, a pork loin and a few chickens where I work. The fun thing about the beef we get is that it's ungraded meat so it goes from old tough cow to beautiful marbled and tender beef so it's kind of a gamble everytime.

Thanks for explaining New York meat prices after Taxes. I couldn't live in New York, not that I would ever want to. No way am I voting for Bloomberg. What he did that to New York and even limited Soda sizes? Freak on that! Go Donald!

Chile is a meat dish, not a dish with chile peppers, and BBQ is not grilled, it's smoke meat. Since the guys are pretending and don't know the difference, you may want to find one with real southwestern chili and BBQ.
