Hello internet! Back with another emotional episode, and a very special guest: My mom! Hope you enjoy this one. It really brought me back to the spots that I used to eat at growing up. Anyone have any good lechon stories? Would love to hear them. Anyway, find me on social to say hey or if you think my mom should get her own show, _fmanto

Never had Cebuan lechon. Looks good though. Not sure if this is a Pampangan thing, but my parents would just poke small holes in the lechon and insert cloves of garlic inside. They would do this throughout the lechon, then season with salt (I think. Great, I'm hungry now.

the only thing that is non-filipino in this video is the language used. even so, it almost felt like you guys are somewhere in the PH. typical niegborhood and nice chat with titas/titos. hehe love this content. went emotional and got me teary-eyed. God bless

so. we dont have that cebu lechon here in jersey but we do have that killer bagnet/roast crispy pork to die for. which tastes like cebu lechon. damn make me a millionaire and let me go home!

Shes right, the proper and correct sauce in lechon is vinegar. Sinamak, Sukang pinakurat, is just a variety of coconut vinegar. Use coconut vinegar put some crushed garlic and sea salt.

I'm so sorry for lovers of lechon in Cebu Philippines, I was one of you before but then I tasted lechon in Iligan City and made me rethink which has the best lechon in the Philippines.
