i remember eating different ramens in japan, i was so hyped about ramen because its so popular and its naruto's favorite food, and when i tasted it, its just. meh or its not really that mind blowing. IDK about western people thinking ramen is so good probably because they dont really have that much noodle sou. But the reason probably why i was not really amazed by the taste of ramen is because its taste is pretty similar to our counry's noodle soup.

This is a good recipe, i am not a fan of the deep fried onions, but the rest of it is a treat! also, it is not wise to eat food this hot! Not good for esophagus or stomach, its good to eat warm, not hot! Is there a way to eat ramen warm without the noodles getting all soggy? Can we put the noodles when it is perfect temperature between hot and warm so that we can eat asap and enjoy the full taste so that our body is also safe?

image if half of the population of Japan wasn't ethnic Japanese people but people coming from all over the third world ( holding a Japanese passport. Japan would be different, Japanese culture would be altered into something different and I'm pretty sure crime would be higher too. I hope Japan will not fall for multiculturalism.

this is my dream destination, omg. shoyu ramen is my favorite Japanese food, I love little rustic gloomy shacks and unknown parts of the urban landscape, the aesthetic is amazing, AND my man my boi as if reading my mind, chars up some crispy seared gyoza. I could live here

I once was in England and whent to a Japanese resturant and had Ramen for the first time. Never looked back and I've been eating ramen at least once a month. Jumping to different places and trying different variations.

I never tried ramen. But this look light still rich and warm. I guess having hot ramen during rain may be quite blissful. I think little quantity of crisp noodle or something like that will also make it nice.

Watching this now in April 2020 with the Covid19 going on. makes me wonder how this economic downtown/millions losing their jobs etc will produce future entrepreneurs like Kazumoto Ochiai.

He looks really kind, and his ramen looks delicious too, but he lost me when he placed the toppings with his hands, and even dipped his finger in the soup. I'm really picky with this: P
