Check My chocolate playlist: Chocolate Mousse Cake/ Chocolate Terrine in grams and cups: 1 L Whole Milk ( 4 cups + 1 tbsp ) 400 gr Heavy Cream ( 2 cups + 1 tbsp ) 50 gr Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (7 tbsp) 60 gr Cornstarch ( 6 tsbsp) 100 gr Sugar (1/2 cup) The sugar quantity in this recipe can be adjusted to your liking. Taste your mixture and add more sugar if you like. 280 gr Chocolate 6070% cocoa (10 ounces) 1/4 tsp Salt 5 gr gelatin Sheets ( 1/2 tbsp gelatin powder. Bloom the gelatin in 23 tbsp water. The gelatin is OPTIONAL for this recipe, however I recommend it or the terrine will be very soft to handle. Refrigerate overnight. I'm pretty sure I made pretty much the same thing as this before- but I only used condensed milk and chocolate, and it certainly didn't come out as firm [I was trying to make microwave fudge, used a bit too much condensed milk]. Came out more like a pudding, but it was thick and looked to have the same sort of texture.

OMG! WOW! - Emma, you have truly outdone yourself! -I am getting all kinds of ideas for this, like using it in a layered cake, or with icecream(maybe icecream balls rolled in coconut, etc! . It is sooo rich n creamy. -Amazing, just amazing.

Very nice. I make something very similar only I put it between two layers of chocolate genoise so it's like the Double Chocolate Gateau a lot of us in the UK grew up with.

have not try too make chocolate mousse cakes i always brag my mom too help now i cant go any were any more soooooooooooooo i can bake next year in grade 7 ill make it XD

It was delicious! Loved it but instead of using a terrine mold I used Springform pan and added an crumbles Oreo crust and it ended up amazing! Thank you for the recipe!
