Somewhere, there's a Frenchman, or woman, your pick, that's is totally not impressed with American Onion Soup. Quick question: Can I use my band saw to cut the squash in half? Because what's more dangerous than some nut in th ekitchen weilding a big chef's knife? Nothing. That's what.

Sopa de Ajo is another good one! It was also the recipe that got college me into cooking and introduced me to Chef John, and his wisdom.
And dad jokes.
Thanks again chef!

Chef John I do enjoy your videos very very much.
After watching 100 or more of your videos I m now starting to wonder why do you put cayenne and everything?
Thx

Hello Mr Food Wishes. May I ask - I am European - that maybe you can add Metric and Celsius to your recipes? It would really help. (I have no idea what a cup is. Thank you! :-)

In my house a toasted cheese sandwich is open faced. Throw your bread on a pan, top with thick slices of block cheese (usually cheddar) put under the broiler until melted.

Thank you. I can't open my jaw right now and was looking for more soup recipies. Your stuff always has so much flavor and reminds me of my grandmas cooking.

Perfect timing. I made onion soup just the other day. Perfect for chilly Autumn evenings here in So Cal.
(or, what passes for Autumn here); -D

I've always loved how generalised western cuisine make soup as something to eat with a spoon but eastern is more catered towards drinking.

Perfect timing on this one, though I have my soup recipe planned out for today already. Potatoes, spinach, carrots, onions, and mushrooms!

I need it all to have under 140mgs of sodium per serving. How many do each of your servings contain and what size is each serving?
