I'd love to see a fra diavolo (tomato based) recipe. a local Italian restaurant near where I lived while still in the US was Donato's in Alpine, CA, and they had a rigatoni fra diavolo that was amazing. Sausage, olives, a spicy garlic tomato and cream sauce that was absolutely the best.

can you chill this dessert in the fridge once you're completed making it to bring the temperature down even more? I'd think all the whipping and prepping of the dessert in normal room temp would make it less chilled during serving.

I do this with fresh blackberries and strawberries from the back yard, with whipped cream and vanilla wafers. Need to get busy and make creme fraiche (your recipe, of course)
