I KNEW Chef John was going to make another batch of mascarpone! I knew it before he even said it because, despite being laid back as a person, he s perfectionist about his food. That s one of the many reasons I love him. Tuesdays and Fridays when his videos come out are my best days of the week.

I needed this last week, better late than never though. Tiramisu is my Favorite thing on my Birthday, however what passes for Tiramisu at some places is a waste of time, calories, and money. I did settle on Ben and Jerry's Tiramisu Ice Cream, which was amazing. But this inspires me to experiment

I'd imagine this would make an excellent french toast as well. Soak the bread, then pan fry in butter over low heat so you don't burn the coffee. Instead of marsala, add some maple syrup to the mascarpone and then dust with some powdered sugar before serving.

U must've been REALLY craving Tiramisu to use Italian bread instead of? (any kind of plain cookie) Sorry, I just can't imagine what that bread tasted like. French toast-ish? If so, then maybe it wasn't so bad!

Oh gosh. The first test didn't look quite right, so after you ate it, you had to make another one and eat it too. A great chef must sacrifice for his art.
