Gordon Ramsy probably wont read this. However, I did once make a Quinoa Salad similarly to the recipe shared by Chef Ramsy. It was greatly appreciated by friends and family. However, when my sick grandmother tried it, she chocked on a piece of shaved fennel. We did not have the chance to do anything. Paramedics were called to the scene (she was still alive when they arrived) and died just after. Thanks to that experience, Im too petrified to enter the kitchen now.

Killed any concept of actual ceviche, by adding olive oil. Not to mention he is missing a lot in the concept of actual ceviche. I wonder why does he do whatever and then call it something that is so far away from the concept of the actual dish. Literally missing all the key ingredients even the lemon is wrong you are supposed to use limes. Not one single ingredient from an actual ceviche.

Gordon, you forgot to take the bloodline out, It will be ten times better if you cut the bloodline out. I am a fisherman, and always take the bloodline out of any fish, I dont eat bait fish, The closest I will come to mackerel is Sierra mackerel. It makes excellent ceviche, its a white meat fish and pretty firm when ultra fresh. Merry Christmas to all

Thin? You need that bulk & muscle with a gob & attitude like yours. mackerel is beautiful, full of flavour & this recipe looks very manageable & tempting. Where can really good fresh Mackerel be brought from? I buy all my fish from the supermarket (using the fishmonger) I live in the uk. Good eating everyone.

Traditionally ceviche is cooked by letting fish/seafood sit for hours in lime juice with salt diced onions peppers and sometimes cucumber and minced cilantro (when using shrimp you can even tell its not raw anymore from the change in color) its very popular in most Hispanic cultures
