So simple. yet soo delicious. There are just few ingredients used, potatoes, some cheese, onion, salt and pepper, and you get one healthy amazingly addictive snack. Crispy on the outside, still soft in the inside and beyond all an amazing taste. Ingredients Makes about 45 tater tots 23 oz (650g) red skin potatoes 3/4 cup (75g) Cheddar cheese, grated 2 spring onions, chopped 1 tsp (5g) salt 1/2 tsp (1g) black ground pepper olive oil to drizzle on top 1. Scrub well the potatoes and boil with their skin on until tender. Remove from water and set aside to cool. 2. Preheat oven to 230C (450F. Line a baking sheet with silicone baking mat or parchment paper. 3. When potatoes are chilled, peel and grate using the big holes grater. Transfer them to a large bowl. 4. Add cheese, onion salt and pepper and stir to combine. 5. Scoop up about 1 tbsp of the potato mixture into your hands and form into cylinders about 1 inch long. Place on baking sheet and repeat until all the tots are made. 6. Drizzle olive oil over the top of tater tots. Bake for 15 minutes, flip them over and bake another 15 minutes until golden brown and crisp. 7. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Hi Thank you for this recipe, just made these and they are absolutely delicious. I did not have chives so instead, for seasoning, I added dried Italian herbs and dried oregano and it was to die for. However, they did not hold their shape as I was preparing them, so I added some olive oil to the mix to add more moisture and they held, but when baking they became like mini pancakes Why is this? What could have I done wrong?

Awesome stuff, once again. I bet they go really great with steak of some sort. By the way, I would definitely add some fresh nutmeg there. It's been ages since I've done a potato-based dish without it. Brings out the best in the potatoes.

I've made something similar to these for years but we always called them potato croquettes. I make them bigger but I also add an egg. Everything else is the same. I have baked them and fried them. They're always a big hit.

I've never tried to make my own tater tots. Definitely looks worth the effort And there are so many other spice and cheese combinations to experiment with. Yum This is on my list of things to try.

Home Cooking Adventure, It's so good you don't make any verbal comments, it brings a much larger international auditory to your film. And a high professional quality of clip may be marked.
