Looks great - I've been looking for a good lemon poppy seed bread recipe ( mine seems to allways stop rising halfway up the pan so I would definitely like to try this and see if it works better. One question - the recipe lists 1/3 cup of oil - what kind? Thanks

I made this yesterday and it turned out really good but I changed it to a marble pound cake and added yogurt instead of buttermilk, I thought it will ruin the recipe but it turned out very well for my first try, very happy with the results

Just made these except the glaze. Have to said the cake itself are so deliciously undescrible, super moist, great lemon flavor but not tart at all and not too sweet as well. Super good recipe Thx for sharing. Appreciate so much

Hi: ) I want to make a regular pound cake, so will it be OK if I use this recipe, but omit the poppy seeds and bake it in a round cake tin? If yes, how would it affect the cooking time?
