Preheat oven to 400 F (200 C. 2. Melt butter and pour it into a baking sheet and spread evenly across the bottom. 3. Sprinkle parmesan cheese and sprinkle other seasonings all over the butter. 4. Place baby potato halves face down on the butter and seasonings. 5. Place in preheated oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan. For the full recipe:

I've done a version of this except, the potatoes were cut side up and, brushed with olive oil then, sprinkled with grated parm cheese (same grater. came out insane. It is a must-do recipe.

I tried this today and boom = butter + cheese + 200-c = black carbon. I even drizzled some olive oil to counter the burn to no avail. Maybe I should reduce the temp to 150-c?

Can't you use baking paper on top of the pan to avoid the mess? The pan is a nightmare to clean after making this, unless you use a silicone one.

Made this last night. Very good, next time I'm going to try with red potatoes and maybe some romano cheese in addition to the parmesan.

Could you get by without all the butter? Seems like a lot of saturated fat. And have you ever tried this with cashew Parmesan?
