Typically I don't comment on celebrity posts because it'll never be read, but I have to wish Gennaro a happy birthday. I may not be able to enjoy all the food, but he's a joy to watch, and his passion and nostalgia come through the recipes when I cook them. Gennaro, I wish you many more years of cooking so good with all the love and good food you share with us. I may have Two Greedy Italians on my desk right next to me. I was planning on making the rice cake next week!

This guy is the best cook I've ever seen. Recipes so simple and so good. Just learned about him the other day. WHY? So far we tried his Baked Trout with Mediterranean Veg recipe with fish I caught locally here in FL. Truly the best way we've ever had fish ever. OMG These vids are hypnotic. Can't wait to try the family ragu and the Zabaglione. Holy mackerel.

hello. would you say the italian Cuisine is heavy on using egg for desert dishes. what i really want to try out is original classic italian marinara Pizza, i never tried in my life, she is hardly available outside italy, next time i remember the difference between sweating and buring, thank so much Gennaro sempre imparando. buona cucina

I love Gennaro! Happy birthday to him! I hope he will never stop entertaining us with his wonderful videos and recipes. I made his rice cake for the first time last year and everybody loved it! The way he pays respects to his mother in that video always leaves me with watery eyes. Once more happy birthday!

I love the philosophy of italian cooking. so simple, yet elegant, effective. I miss Carluccio so much! Every time I watch him, or Genaro, I feel like I am on holiday with my Grandparents again. So much love, so many happy memories. :)

This guy needs to publish a book. Yet it would never be able to capture his fiery bigger than life attitude. I hope this man lives atleast another 70 years so I can learn and spread his teachings. Happy birthday from the USA!
