Next time bite off just the opposite corners of the tim tam and then after dunking it in the hot beverage, suck the liquid through like a straw until it reaches your mouth. At that moment you will feel the tim tam begin to collapse which will signal you to shove the whole thing in your mouth before that happens. The result: melting chocolate biscuit heaven. That's how I've always done the tim tam slam, I use it with hot tea, and it's even better with the double coat ones from the purple packet: )

Holy cap those would taste ridiculously good! Here in Australia, tim tams are so popular and I could eat a whole pack if they weren't so bad for you! LOL. Damn I have cravings now! The caramel tim tams are so good Barry, you can't stop eating them

Tip: put the wire rack over top another pot so that when you're pouring the melted chocolate over the biscuits, the extra drippings will fall into the other pot so you could keep pouring more and more chocolate over the biscuits, save the chocolate, etc.

Tim tam slam done wrong! You bite a corner off either side, you then insert one side where you ve bitten a corner off, suck through whatever your drink is so it all melts and catch it before it falls on your drink!

These look amazing but FYI a Tim Tam slam involves biting off opposite corners of the Tim Tam and sucking the beverage through the biscuit like a straw! Everything inside goes melty and amazing!

Just a tip. Bite both ends of the Tim tam then Suck the coffee through it like a straw it melts the insides of it completely then eat it trust me dunking it it doesn't cut it.

I've heard from someone whose had both that penguins and tim tams aren't the same. I've only had tim tams and they're great so if these are like that then they're awesome!
