Felicitas has outdone herself this time - climbing a mountain with a whole trout under her arm just to share this mouth watering recipe with you. Tender fish stuffed with tangy lemon, sweet red onion and fragrant herbs and topped with a beer and garlic butter. Simple ingredients that infuse the flesh with beautiful flavour and turn the skin deliciously crisp. Perfect served with smashed new potatoes and fresh greens. Was convinced that poor, enormous fish was going to be a horrible disaster, she seems long on enthusiasm and short on actual cooking savvy. Hated to even look at a developing accident scene. Came out looking absolutely terrific. It could have been her expertise, could have been her luck. Let's call it her expertise. Either way that whale came out looking wonderful.

Nice recipe! Quite unusual and quite promising. The only question I have is: if I'm not that lucky to be able to cook that dish on south american slope, which time is it best to put beer butter in? Before putting stuffed fish into the oven? Or do I do it in three stages (stuffed fish on one side > taking out, cooling down, stuffing with butter > other side?

She has great presentation and a bubbly personality. But I guarantee those onions and leeks are raw. Even a big trout like that cooks within less than 20 minutes. Not enough time for the aromatics to cook. They'll simply provide aroma but can't be treated as a side.

as a little i always loved signs so when i see someone putting lemon, black pepper and a beer in a fish that scene giving me a sign that i am about to see some high level of retarded being but at least, you are super cute and look like nice person

Hey wait a minute. i live right next to a lake that has trout in it. and that s one tasty lookin fish you just cooked up there. That settles it, Tomorrow, there'll be singing up in heaven, and a note on my door. Gone Fishin: )

a question. when she cut the fish, clearly she didn't de-scale the fish. so does she do that in purpose to protect the fish when it is grilled? doesn't that makes it a mess when you eat the fish after it is grilled?

Wooow looks super delicious! And the location is breathtaking! But why is a place in Argentinia called Berghof? I'm German & I think this is really funny! Could also be an Austrian restaurant or sth: )

I like the crispy trout skin, so would de-scale. Would not stuff it that much. There is no chance that the heat will reach and soften the staffing, before the fish is even done.

Silly me, I thought this was a Jamie Oliver video, and I'm just as silly when I think Mario Batali stars in videos with Mario Batali in the title. Recipe looks good, though.

So much fun to watch, don't think it was the most comfy place to slice veggies or fish, but cooking in open nature is always the best The fish looks absolutely delish!
