Probably the most popular salad of all time and DJ BBQ has a sweet and creamy recipe that comes straight from Planet Amazatron. Chicken basted with garlic and rosemary is wood-smoked over an open grill until the skin is crisp and the flesh is tender. Mixed in to a salad of fresh lettuce, chopped bacon, barbecued chicory all drizzled with a lemon and yogurt dressing makes this Caesar salad one of total perfection. When your making a barbecue, it's always about the half and half. One half is direct fire, and the other half is about indirect fire. What does that means is that one side is super power, and the other less super powers. It also means that one side grills faster, and the other less faster. So depending on what genra you are you can put moyonnaise, dishes, ustensils, furniture, meat, chicken, your ash tray, your mom, a chair or your bed. But remember, It's always about the half and half; Lemme explain: One half is about direct fire, and the other isn't. So on one side it cooks faster, and the other isn't. To make this, on one side you moar charcoal, and on the other, less charcoal. So it makes this thing which I have not explained yet; It's about the half and half. The direct fire and the indirect fire. It's really important. DJBBQ on how to make a grill direct and indirect fire The half and half theory Let's mange; meaning let's eat

Man I now seriously doubt if you can cook or you just pretend. What's the use of grilling chicken to just tear it into salad bowl? What's the use of making salad dressing if there's too little of it? How come you put more lemon juice into dressing than olive oil. I suppose you'd better stick with BBQs.

That looks really good. Not sure Of the purpose of the burnt lemons on the side. I know we eat with our eyes as you said but in my opinion, if you can't eat it don't put it on the plate. This guy is getting better though, love his spin on the traditional salad.

Tip: if you don't like anchovies, use soy or worcestershire sauce. Yes, worcester has anchovies, but the flavour is much less pronounced. Anchovies, worcester sauce and shoyu have natural umami from the fermentation process, which plain salt doesn't.

For me a proper Caesar is about pepper, lemon, garlic, parmesan and the anchovy flavour. But mostly the fresh ground pepper. I use a beaten egg rather than the yogurt as well but love the idea - Will be giving this a go! Thx DJ

Wondering if you could sub tofu for the chicken? Or maybe grill some chickpea patties or something. I don't mean to be a dweeb. But I'm trying to eat less meat for health reasons. The struggle is real!

I massaged my meat with the mentioned ingredients; salt, rosemary and olive oil and all I got was cuts, bruises and a leave of rosemary pierced through the skin. Thank you very much.

Good stuff. I thought your first few videos were a little too over the TOP (too much character. now you gotta good balance of teaching, talking and I like that you ate your OWN food.

Good simple salad: arugula, fresh portobello in tiny bits, lettuce + chicken, feta or whatever. With lemon, extra virgin olive oil and black pepper dressing, always works.

This looks absolutely delicious! Caesar salad is the only salad I like. I have been looking for a better version. I am definitely going to try this! Thank you, DJ BBQ!
