Jamie, you wanna hear the greek signature dish? I love greek food, and there is probably many stuff that is more complex or anything, but nothing will ever be more greek than my greek grandmas lemon kritharaki soup with the lemons from our own garden Is there any better way of living?

Tried this recipe on myself fortunately before trying on others. I found this recipe unpleasant. the rosemary in the marinade was just plain wrong, becoming the dominant flavour. Where was the oregano? Also made tzatziki sauce as per his linked recipe which came out well and tasted good.

great recipe Akis. I have a comment. I had an uneven pork shoulder piece and had to cut it into smaller pieces for uniform cooking in an oven. I would say go with Akis' video and cut the pork into bigger chucks. The bigger chunks were juicier. Turned out great in an oven.

I made sort of a spin off of this recipe. I used tuna steak instead of pork and just added grilled pineapple instead of tomato. It was amazing especially if you love seafood! But the original way shown here is also quite amazing!

Nice recipe, if you want a new style of souvlaki. But this is not authentic souvlaki pita. Still nice recipe though, just don't like that it's sold as the basic recipe.

Looks perfect! But, the word slouvaki comes from a Latin word meaning skewer. i. e souvlaki in it's pure form is ONLY eaten directly from the skewer.
