Welcome Chetna and her delicious recipe for Chicken Tikka Masala to the channel! Tender chicken marinated and baked in a spicy yogurt dressing before being tossed through a rich tomato sauce with cashew cream and coriander. So full of flavour, this popular Indian dish tastes better than anything from the local takeaway. If you want more delicious recipes from Chetna including those inspired from her time on The Great British Bake Off

I just made this last night. it was pretty good but when I added the baked chicken to the sauce, the yogurt in the chicken made the sauce curdle so I didn't really care for the texture with all the little lumps. I'm not sure if curdled yogurt affects the taste of the sauce even though it was pretty tasty. It was also very spicy because of the all chili powder and the green chilies. Also, I fished out the cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, bay leaves, and a few cloves that I could see before adding the chicken.

Thanks for the recipe and I am going to make. But one thing: as always on the Jaimie Oliver videos, where is the list of ingredients? There is not 1 link in the description with the exact recipe. I just want go the store and see what I need to buy, rather then watching the whole video again and write it all down. Edit: you can find it on the website of Jamie Oliver. Edit 2: the ingredient list on the website of Jaimie are definitely different than the the ingredients in the video.

Hi, I m absolutely in love with this delicious dish I ve cooked it over and over again, thank you for showing us how to cook it. I would like to ask your advice I would like to do this recipe for my sister but she s a pescatarian so I would like to do it with king prawns. Can I marinade them the same as the chicken? Also can I cook them in the oven or should I cook them in the sauce? I would really appreciate your advice. x

I am Indian and would like to give a suggestion. I have seen few videos of European chefs on North Indian food and found that you guys use vegetable oil for cooking. That's not what we use here for our gravy. Indian gravy never tastes authentic when cooked in oil. We use ghee (clarified butter) for the purpose. You people must try that thing once and I can bet, you will never ever use vegetable oil for your gravies again

Did this recipe today but a vegetarian version (marinaded some cauliflower steaks instead of chicken breasts) it was one of the tastiest curries I ve had and the healthiest. Leaving the tomatoes cook gives such a rich savoury flavour. I always trust Chetna s recipes and this is one of my favourites of hers. Thank you Chetna

One of the most overly complicated and time intensive recipes. Why did her sauce take an hour and the chicken 20-25 mins, when did she take a cinnamon bark out, why is there so little cream or milk, this whole thing is a joke. You don t need half of this crap to make this dish.

That green pepper at 3: 15, that is not a spicy kind right? Also, I want to add more vegetables to this dish, what would you recommend and what spices would be good on those veggies? Also, how big is your teaspoon? Some of those portions seemed huge!

You would be sacked if you worked in an Indian restaurant, you would be feeding one customer a night the length that took to cook. You have an actual restaurant doing videos and this took them 15 minutes to cook. Your version 30 minutes to an hour.

Remember how Rajesh from Big Bang Theory said that in India everyone have very soft bowel movement, i. e. diarrhea. That's why. No doubt, it is very tasty. But very unhealthy. The pancreas looking at this, cries Plz, hooman, don't eat this! .
