I did go to Jamie's Italian once food was really poor I remember tasting the macaroni cheese they made my daughter and thinking this tastes like sogy cardboard blended with dirty dish water. Couple that with his contribution pushing the movement so we now have artificial sweeteners in everything and failing to pay his suppliers it's pretty hard to have any respect for him. Sell out with no integrity just like his sogy pasta

Jamie what's your beef with olive oil? My leaves, pour the whole bottle in won't you. I've been watching you from the time you cooked in your tiny apartment for your friends, to Jamie's great Italian escape(where you cried when they told you to slaughter a sheep) to the time you grew your own garden and went crazy with veggies and also cooked with your old man and those 30 minute meals. Less olive oil please

Love what you do with food Jamie. Glad you have dropped the cheeky chappy silly sassy image that carried your previous presentations. You are a national treasure. along with Mary Berry. your work is to bring the best on our tables and enable everyone to eat well by cooking available ingredients from scratch. Keep up the good work. The mature Jaime suits you!

That's an italian inspired dish and not an italian dish at all, never seen anyone eating chicken with pesto here and it's very unusual to find chicken in menus in Italy, chicken it's considered a poor and simple dish here, something that you eat at home cause anyone can cook it, it doesn't make sense to go out for dinner and eat chicken for us

Why mint? You destroyed it totally there! You are going all over the place with flavours that doesn't go well together. Classic italian combo is rosemary (and sage, garlic and lemon. So far so good. Then your british love for mint went over the top. Italians would never serve it like that! Far too much going on tastewise!

I hope your restaurants continue to be successful because you seem like you put so much effort into what you do, but I think you should definitely consider serving kosher/halal meat and poultry at some locations too, if you don t already. You would probably get more customers that way.

I've watched a few of these Jamie's Italian recipe's now and I can't help but think how much I see The River Cafe's influence coming back through - well sourced quality ingredients, simply presented, letting the food speak for itself. Just an observation!

1: 04 nope, pesto means something like crushed (from the latin verb pisto, to crush, with a common root with pizza ) and it's not related to pasta and paste (which come from the greek word for spreading, scattering.
