My Granny used to work in the kitchen at a Chinese restaurant. One of her duties was to make the fried rice along with the most delicious fried wonton noodles, that was 30+ years ago, she taught me how 15 or so years ago. My family loves it. And yes, I agree, it's better if you let the rice dry out for at least a day. I just fluff mine and cover it and let it sit on the stove. Good video, tfs.

You understand that your kid is allergic to the denatured protein, eggs denatured VERY easily and most people are intolerant to it. Try pre scrambling the eggs well and cooking over low heat and see if that helps. Also try a different skillet, for some reason I can eat eggs done this way cooked on my cast iron. Actually eat them every day, honey and eggs is like pb J

If anyone wants to skip the process with the rice in the freezer, I made fried rice the other day with fresh rice (I let it cool) I used long grain rice as it is less starchy than jasmine and sticks less. Can t wait to try this recipe with pineapple! yummy

Yess! Finally someone who washes their rice. Please do this because it s not just the extra starch you need to do this for, it s for sanitary purposes. If you have been in a rice mill? Omg you will definitely be rinsing! So many things running around there!

Got some leftover Chinese food and I got pineapple in my edible arrangement, and scallions growing on my kitchen window sill so I think I know what I will have for lunch

Looks delicious. What were you using it looked like tweezers? I wonder if cooking Jasmine rice on stove would be okay would I boil rice or fry the rice?
